Participants will learn to create and edit documents using basic formatting tools. Basic computer skills are required. Registration is required, and space is limited. To register, or for more information, call (330) 296-2827 (ext. 200).

Lego Club

Thursday, January 8

Complete a LEGO creation based on a theme. We will supply the LEGOs, and meet on the second Thursday of every month. No registration is required for this free event. 

Internet for Beginners

Monday, January 12

Internet skills for beginners. Through hands-on activities, participants will learn how to use Internet links, common elements of web pages, and print from the Internet using print preview. This class will be offered again on Friday, January 23 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Registration is required and space is limited.

Adult Book Discussion

Wednesday, January 14

Orphan Train by Christina Baker Kline.

Orphan trains ran regularly between 1854 and 1929 from the cities of the East Coast to the farmlands of the Midwest, carrying thousands of abandoned children whose fates would be determined by pure luck. Copies of this book will be available to borrow about a month before the discussion and may be picked up at the library circulation desk.


Teen Anime Club

Saturday, January 17

Watch and discuss anime with others who enjoy Japanese animation and culture. Ages 13 and up. Anime may be rated PG or PG-13. No registration required. Anime Club meets one Saturday every month from 2-4p.m.
