In this class, participants will practice various elements of Publisher by learning how to create a flyer. Participants will also look at templates for other uses of Publisher, such as business cards, banners, and brochures. Basic mouse and keyboard skills are required for this class. Registration is required and space is limited.

Japanese Club

Children in grades K-5 can join us at Reed Memorial Library on Wednesday, February 10 at 6:30 p.m. to learn about Japanese culture, the language, and to play games.

This club meets once a month.

Adult Book Discussion

The Cat’s Table by Michael Ondaatje.

A spellbinding story about the magical discoveries of childhood and a lifelong journey that begins unexpectedly with a spectacular sea voyage. Copies of this title will be available to borrow about a month before the discussion and may be picked up at the library circulation desk.


“Catch a Dragon by its Tale” Winter Reading Program

February 1-February 29

Children may pick up a reading record in the Children’s Department and read to earn a prize. 

Teen participants will fill out tickets for each book or graphic novel that they have read, and return the completed tickets. Each ticket is a chance to win prizes.

Adults receive a blank ticket for every item checked out (except music and movies.) They return the completed ticket, and for every 10 tickets returned participants will receive a prize. All tickets will be entered into the Grand Prize drawing.

E-books count too! All participants should return their tickets or reading records by February 29 for a chance to win.
