We Can Build It!

Saturday, January 24
2-3pm

Children of all ages are invited to build with blocks, cardboard boxes, sticks, toothpicks, marshmallows, LEGOs, magnets, puzzles and much more. No registration required.

Family Winter Reading Bingo

February 1-28
Families may pick up a Winter Reading Bingo card in the Children's Department at the Reed Memorial Library. Participants will read books from many different areas in the library, fill in a bingo card, and turn it in by February 28 to enter the prize drawing. 100th Anniversary Party with 100 Cakes

Saturday, February 7
2-4 p.m.

Great news! Thanks to a generous cake donation from Hummel Construction, we have officially reached our goal of 100 cakes for our 100th "Birthday" open-house party. Now we just need everyone to come and celebrate with us. There will be ice cream too! Meet our new Director, Brian Hare, and wish our out-going Director, Cass Owens, a happy retirement. Part of Reed Memorial Library's year-long Centennial Celebration: 1915-2015.

 

 

Computer Basics

Kalyn, our Guiding Ohio Online AmeriCorps member, will offer a class on Computer Basics. This will be an opportunity for people completely unfamiliar with computers to get some basic hands-on training and begin to feel more comfortable with the technology. Registration is required and space is limited.

Lego Club

Thursday, February 12
6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Complete a LEGO creation based on a theme. We will supply the LEGOs, and meet on the second Thursday of every month. No registration is required for this free event. Grages K-5.

Internet for Beginners

Friday, February 13
1:00 – 2:00 p.m.

Kalyn, our Guiding Ohio Online AmeriCorps member, will offer a class on Internet skills for beginners.Through hands-on activities, participants will learn how to use Internet links, common elements of web pages, and print from the Internet using print preview. Registration is required and space is limited.
