Teen Anime Club

Saturday, July 30
2-4pm

Watch and discuss anime with others who enjoy Japanese animation and culture. Ages 13 and up. Anime may be rated PG or PG-13. No registration required. Anime Club meets one Saturday every month from 2-4p.m.

Lego & Block Club

Tuesday, August 2
6:30 p.m.

Construct a LEGO creation. This club meets on the first Tuesday of every month. The library will provide the tools to build, participants will provide the imagination! No registration required. Grades K-5

Junior Friends Meeting

Tuesday, August 2
6:30pm

Volunteer and be involved in planning fun activities. The group meets the first Tuesday of every month at 6:30pm. Stop by a meeting to join. Open to grades 5-12. This month we're planning fall programs and making giant games!

Computer Basics

Wednesday, August 3
3:30-4:30 p.m.

This will be an opportunity for people completely unfamiliar with computers to get some basic hands-on training and begin to feel more comfortable with the technology.
Registration is required and space is limited.

Summer STAR

July 20, 27 and August 3
6:30 p.m.

Children in grades 2-4 are invited to Reed Memorial Library for the summer edition of our popular STAR (Stay and Read) program. The theme this year is “On Your Mark…Get Set…Read!” Attendees will enjoy fun stories, crafts, and games with sports and physical activity themes. Registration is required for this series.

Gaming Club

On the second and fourth Monday of every month
6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Join us for board games, role playing games, and collectible card games.Teens and adults are welcome, and families with younger children should feel free to participate as well. No registration is required.

 

Internet for Beginners

Wednesday, August 10
3:30-4:30 p.m.

Through hands-on activities, participants will learn how to use Internet links, common elements of web pages, and print from the Internet using print preview. Registration is required and space is limited.

Japanese Club

Learn about Japanese culture, the language, and play games. This club meets once a month. Registration is required for this free event. Grades K-5.
