Adult Book Discussion

“Manual of Detection” by Jedediah Berry.
In this novel, agency clerk Charles Unwin is unexpectedly promoted to detective and struggles with inexperience and nerves during a case in which he encounters bizarre clues and is framed for murder. Copies of this title will be available to borrow about a month before the discussion and may be picked up at the library circulation desk.


Puzzle Exchange

Saturday, September 13

On the second Saturday of each month join Reed Memorial Library for a Puzzle Exchange. Puzzle enthusiasts can swap, switch and trade puzzles and some board games. No registration is required for this free program, and participants may come and go throughout the length of the exchange.

LEGO Mania

Saturday, September 13

Family members of all ages are invited to build and create with LEGOs on Saturday, September 13 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. We will provide the LEGOs, and participants are welcome to donate LEGOs to the library for future programs. No registration is required for this free event.

Teen Anime Club

Saturday, September 13

Watch and discuss anime with others who enjoy Japanese animation and culture. Ages 13 and up. Anime may be rated PG or PG-13. No registration required. Anime Club meets one Saturday every month.

Lego Club

Kids in grades K-5 can complete a LEGO creation based on a theme. We will supply the LEGOs, and meet on the third Thursday of every month. No registration is required for this free event.
