Internet Search Techniques

In this class, participants will learn about different search engines and practice various search techniques that will help them find better information more easily online. Basic mouse and keyboard skills are required for this class. Registration required.

Email Basics

Thursday, June 1
2-3pm

This class will cover email basics, including attaching files and CC/BCC. Basic mouse and keyboard skills are required for this class. Registration is required and space is limited.

 

Summer Reading 2017

June 3 through July 28

Children Ages infant through grade 5 register at the children's desk and pick up a reading record to earn prizes.
Special science and engineering programs will be offered.

Teens and Adults Receive tickets at the circulation desk for books, e-books, audiobooks, magazines, or graphic novels. Fill out and return your tickets, which are entered into weekly and grand prize drawings. Additional tickets are earned by attending library programs throughout the summer. Prizes include sports tickets, museum and zoo passes, gift cards, t-shirts, and more. There are separate prizes and drawings for adults and teens.

 

Summer Lunch Program

June 5-August 18
The Summer Food Service Program was established to ensure that low-income children continue to receive nutritious meals when school is not in session. Free meals, that meet Federal nutrition guidelines, are provided to all children 18 years old and under.
