Watch and discuss anime with others who enjoy Japanese animation and culture. Ages 13 and up. Anime may be rated PG or PG-13. No registration required. Anime Club meets one Saturday every month from 2-4p.m.

Online Scrapbooking

Monday, March 2
6:00 - 7:00 p.m.

Learn how to load photos onto an online website to create digital scrapbooks. The digital scrapbooks can be printed at the library for a fairly low cost or emailed to friends and family. Registration is required, and space is limited. To register, or for more information, call (330) 296-2827 (ext. 200).

Movie Night: Hitchcock’s “39 Steps”

6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

As part of Reed Memorial Library’s continuing 100th Anniversary celebration, community members are invited to view the Alfred Hitchcock film loosely based on the 1915 novel “39 Steps” by John Buchan. In 1999, the British Film Institute ranked The 39 Steps the fourth best British film of the 20th century. All ages are welcome, though parental guidance is suggested as some material may not be suitable for young children. No registration is necessary for this free event. 


Tail Waggin’ Tutors

Saturday, March 7

Children in grades 1-5 can join us  to read aloud to a therapy dog. Reading to a dog can reduce anxiety and make children more confident. Sign-up for a 15 minute reading session with Doogie, our Tail Waggin’ Tutor. Registration is required for this free event. 

LEGO Mania

Saturday, March 7

Family members of all ages are invited to build and create with LEGOs and discover new LEGO apps on our iPads. We will provide the LEGOs and iPads for the program. No registration is required for this free event.

Resume Talk

Monday, March 9
6-7 p.m.

A guest speaker will offer a class at Reed Memorial Library on tips and tricks for creating resumes. Registration requested.

Word for Beginners

Tuesday, March 10
6:00-7:00 p.m.

Our Guiding Ohio Online AmeriCorps member will provide an overview of Microsoft Word and teach people how to create and edit documents using basic formatting tools. This particular class will have a focus on resume writing. Basic computer skills are required. Registration is required, and space is limited.

Lego Club

Thursday, March 12
6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Complete a LEGO creation based on a theme. We will supply the LEGOs, and meet on the second Thursday of every month. Participants are welcome to donate LEGOs to the library for future programs. Grades K-5. No registration is required for this free event.
