Mr. Pfingsten is the author of The History of the Ravenna Arsenal
In 1993, Ralph Pfingsten was surveying the Ravenna for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources and became interested in the history of the area. He began his research in 2004 and, because of a wealth of information, one of the more difficult tasks while writing his book was to decide what should go into the work and what could be left out. Mr. Pfingsten is a retired biology teacher and amateur historian and has written books on salamanders.

Ms. Brett is the author of God Never Blinks: 50 Lessons for Life's Little Detours
A columnist for the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Regina Brett has won numerous awards for her columns. She was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for Commentary in 2009 and 2008. She was inducted into the Journalism Hall of Fame by the Press Club of Cleveland in2009. Her book God Never Blinks: 50 Lessons for Life's Little Detours continues the "lessons" from "50 Life Lessons" an extremely popular column written in 2006.
