Reed Memorial Library offers free delivery of materials to persons of any age who are residents of Ravenna city or Ravenna township. We deliver to those who are physically unable to visit the library, including the elderly, the disabled, and those who are temporarily confined to their homes or care facility due to illness or disability.
We deliver books in regular or large print, audio books, CDs, cassettes, VHS videos and DVD's.
Reed Memorial is the lending agency for the National Library Service (NLS) for the Blind and Physically Handicapped in Portage County. The NLS publishes thousands of books and magazines in both braille and on cassette tape. They also supply the equipment needed to play the tapes. To qualify, you must have the following limitations: blindness, low vision, or inability to hold a book. In some cases, people with a reading disability qualify.
